There is no difference between an Adv Prompt and changing the code of the bot yourself to edit in those prompts at the very top of it's Personality window (unlike Chat Mem which is like adding prompts to the end of the Personality window) You can use Advanced prompts to make any bot do anything a self-created bot can do.

My general stance on cheating (or cheating-like behavior since I'm not sure WHAT to classify this insanity as) is that people may be able to get past it if certain conditions are met, and one of them is "can you picture the person ever doing the thing that led to the cheating (in this case using his phone) without getting a pit in your stomach" and in this case the answer is pretty clearly "no." Every single time he picks up his phone and she can't see the screen she's going to be wondering what sort of gross stuff he's up to now.
