CAI has better quality AI in general, but Pyg has more freedom because not only is it filterless, but you can also do anything you want with your chats (edit, import, export).

I've used other AI apps/software for all of this too, but I've found they're always either way dumber than character ai, or they don't have a free edit feature, (which i need, for obvious reasons, when I'm trying to get an ai to act as a character I wrote) or are made for sexual content.
