imo get what you mean from my experience some of them start off deep n then slowly lose that emotional thread iβve tried quite a few too n secret desires has been the most natural for me so far it actually keeps the tone n memories consistent over long chats, which makes it feel more personal downside though, if you go too heavy on visuals or long sessions, it can lag a bit still, for real.

ive seen a creator who both uses example dialogue and puts examples of specific scenarios in the personality (the whole "when angry: "x" when cornered: "x" thing), i think ill try both though from my experience putting a very detailed description of the intro scene into scenario makes it hard to like, "break out" of that scene if you were going for a longer form roleplay (like i prefer), i like bots that put a more vague general setting in there and let you reinforce the intro scene via chat memory if you need
