The first few paragraphs of the reply are usually good, but I do have a bit of a problem where they tend to end a lot of replies with a cheesy sort of “chapter end” summary like “They steeled themselves for the day that was to come.” Or “She knew in her heart there would be many obstacles in their future.” Which is what I assume you were talking about, but it’s not all the time and it’s still in character and relevant to the story most of the time so usually I’m fine with it.
